NSW Commercial Photographer of the Year 2017
As a Sydney commercial photographer, I am always striving to improve my craft and create meaningful, engaging images that resonate with my clients and peers. This is why I was both humbled and overjoyed when I was named the 2017 AIPP NSW Commercial Photographer of the Year at a presentation dinner held at Sydney’s Darling Harbour.
The AIPP NSW Epson Professional Photography Awards
Open to all professional photographers, the AIPP NSW Epson Professional Photography Awards is a prestigious event that showcases the incredible talent within our industry. This year’s competition attracted 118 entrants, who submitted a total of 680 images to be judged by some of Australia’s most renowned photographers.
Winning the Top Commercial Photography Award
I was honoured to have four of my images recognized in the commercial category. Each photograph represented a unique challenge and opportunity, allowing me to explore different aspects of commercial photography and push the boundaries of my creativity. To have my work acknowledged by such esteemed judges was truly a career highlight for me.
Additional Accolades
In addition to winning the top Commercial Photography Award, I was thrilled to receive two Silver Distinction Awards and two Silver Awards in the Landscape category, as well as three Silver Awards in the Illustrative category. These accolades serve as both a validation of my hard work and a reminder of the importance of constantly striving for excellence in my field.
Being named the 2017 AIPP NSW Commercial Photographer of the Year was a truly unforgettable experience that I will always cherish. I am incredibly grateful for the recognition and support from the AIPP, my fellow photographers, and, of course, my amazing clients who have entrusted me with capturing their stories and visions.
As I continue my journey as a Sydney commercial photographer, I am more inspired than ever to push the boundaries of my craft and create images that resonate with my clients and peers. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and to continuing to grow as an artist and professional.
